Vision

By 2010 to be the preferred Vehicle assembler, Bus and truck body builder, trailer builder and Mass Fabricator in East Africa.

Mission Statement 

To delight our customers and shareholders whilst preserving our integrity and the environment.

Core Objectives.

    2. To lead East Africa’s Manufacturers in living integrously and be conscious of being upstream.

    3. To empower everyone with all relevant information they need to make timely and accurate decisions.

  3. Procurement.
    4. To have access to the best supply available.

  4. Quality Through Engineering.
    5. To place design at the heart of our production and so guarantee our output.

  5. CKD
    6. To achieve an Annual CKD volume of 1000 vehicles by end 2006.

  6. Rehab
    7. To be the number one Vehicle Rehabilitation Centre in Kenya.

  7. Mass Fabrication
    8. To identify and develop mass fabricated products that promise volume.

  8. Body Building.
    9. To command 15% Market Share of Body Building in Kenya

  9. Semi trailers.
    10. To be building our own semi-trailers by end 2006.

  10. Tents.
    11. To develop our tent business to be 80% of the regional large tent supply business by the end of year 2006.

  11. Utilise the plant.
    12. Develop anything that will fully utilise the factory and surrounds.


GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  1. Customers are the focus of everything we do.  We realise that external customers can never be satisfied unless internal customers are first satisfied.  Our goal therefore is to deliver excellence in order to delight our customers.

    2. Our relationship with our dealers and suppliers is symbiotic.  It must therefore be nurtured and carefully cultivated to ensure mutual benefits are attained.

  2. Integrity is never compromised.  We shall always positively project the corporate image of KVM both within and outside the company's environment always recognising our social responsibility to the community.

  3. QUALITY will have first priority on the agenda of all meetings. We shall continuously remind ourselves of the four absolutes of the quality improvement process.
